Director, coreographer and performer. She has a B.A. in Dance from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná - PUC and Teatro Guaíra, Brazil, and a post-graduation in Contemporary Studies in Dance at the Faculdades Angel Vianna , Rio de Janeiro/Universidade Federal da Bahia, Salvador. In 1993 she initiated her professional carrier as coreographer, working in several dance and theater plays in Curitiba, Brazil. In 2002 she created "Ar. Co. - Companhia do Ar" ,currently known as PIP Movement Research. She prouced the plays "A casa dos anjos" and "Motion", winning several local prizes. During 2003 she coordinated the "CIM - Centro de Investigação do Movimento" (Movement Investigation Center), and reformulated the company giving a new course to her dance and performance art researches. Still in 2003 and in 2004 she participated of the studies at "Casa Hoffmann - Centro de Estudos do Movimento", learning with names such as Deborah Hay, Tere O´Connor, Xavier Le Roy, Simone Aughterlony, David Zambrano, La Ribot, John Jasperse, Thomas Lehmen, André Lepecki, Lia Rodrigues and Helena Katz, among others. In 2005 she was responsable for coordinating the Brazilian phase of "Channel Sur: Latin American Dance in New York", an event created by Luis Lara Malvacías, Jeremy Nelson (fullfatdance.org) and supported by Danspace Project (danspaceproject.org). She's responsable by the conception, direction and one of the performers of the dance project "MOBILLE", which is part of the Difusion Cultural Program of Curitiba Cultural Foundation, taking the contemporary dance to the periferic regions of the city. In 2005 Jorge directed the project "3MG - Gingaestética", which premiered in New York and toured to "Mostra de Artes - Mediterrâneo", at SESC São Paulo (sescsp.org.br) and to Fabbrica Eupora Festival in Firenze/Italy (fabbricaeuropa.net). In 2006 she created a new project called "BARRACO", granted by the FUNARTE Klauss Vianna prize for dance development, presenting a season on the SESC Av. Paulista, São Paulo, Brazil, 2007. In 2007 she started to develop with PIP a series of procedures involving dance and technology experiments. In October 2007 she staged "OB-GESTOS" and in April 2008 the work "LAB SIMBIOPTICO", in which she researched the use of the software ISADORA, the practice of Telematic and the development studies for a video dance work. She worked as a corographer in more than 50 theatre productions in Curitiba, whrere she lives and works.
